ROAD to Housing
Jared voted for the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, now law, which expands housing supply, removes barriers to homeownership, modernizes federal housing programs, and creates more opportunities for families to achieve the American Dream.
FEMA Act
Jared supports the Fixing Emergency Management for Americans (FEMA) Act, which would make disaster assistance more effective by prioritizing permanent home repairs, allowing mitigation and resilience upgrades during rebuilding, and reducing reliance on prolonged temporary housing.
Unlocking Inventory
Jared supports the More Homes on the Market Act, which would double the current capital gains exclusion for homeowners when selling their principal residence and index it to future inflation. Without the fear of a massive tax liability, more long-time homeowners will be incentivized to sell their homes and help alleviate the inventory shortage.
